Armando Mejia is a 2023 OF/RHP, SS with a 6-4 208 lb. frame from Dinuba, CA who attends Dinuba. Lean, athletic framed utility man that showed from multiple defensive spots. In the outfield, he works athletically to and through the baseball with proper footwork and glove technique. He carries the momentum into strong downhill throws that were accurate to both bases. In the infield, he shows quality glove work with decent fieel in either direction as well as, on time strikes across the diamond. At the plate, he sets up with a wide base and high back elbow that works into a slight leg lift load. The approach works to all fields with present gap power. In a quality round of batting practice he squared up some loud line drives. On the mound, he works down the mound efficiently. Arm tends to drag a bit behind the lower half but overloads the strike zone with fastball early in counts before turning to a slow round breker that he showed decent feel to land. 6.98 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
