Braden Norwood is a 2021 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 240 lb. frame from Murrieta, CA who attends Vista Murrieta HS. Extra large frame with a lot of strength throughout. Primary righthanded pitcher with a smooth wind up and delivery. Strong lower half and drives down the mound nicely. Good control on the corners with the fastball and mixed in both a changeup and a curveball. Takes advantage at the top of the strike zone and shows good balance and composure on the mound. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a linear bat path. Slightly open stance with balance through the lower half. Generates torque in his hips and throws the barrel head out in front. Generates good backspin off the barrel and has strength through contact. Good student.
