Jaxson Strohmeyer is a 2021 RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from College Station, TX who attends College Station. Slender young build with plenty of room to fill out and get stronger. Long and loose arm action with good arm speed, pitches from the stretch with a nice on line delivery and good extension out front, solid tempo and repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, maintained his velocity well, gets nice running action to both sides of the plate, not afraid to pitch inside to hitters. Has feel for a low 70's curveball with good depth, change up has some sink as well. Young bodied pitcher with good mechanics and three solid pitches, definitely going to keep improving. Good student.
