Ryder Armstrong is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Midlothian, TX, who attends Midlothian. A taller frame with a thin and slender build. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked from the full wind-up from the middle of the rubber. He had a big move toward first base, staying in line through release. He had a quick cadence with a leg lift around the belly. He maintained a strong posture working through the delivery. He had higher set hands to start, breaking at the chest and working into his arm path. He accelerates through a lower-three-quarters arm action. He releases the ball out in front. The fastball worked up to 83 mph and held the low-80s, showing some late life to it. The slider worked the upper-60s with a sweeper look to it, showing a high spin look. Also flashed a harder changeup. Great student. Named to 2023 PG Main Event TP List.
