Nathan Acosta is a 2023 OF/RHP/UT with a 5-8 120 lb. frame from Apache Junction, AZ who attends Apache Junction. Developing build that stands to drastically improve as he continues to progress. Primary outfielder, fields off to the side and is meticulous with his glove work. Meticulous with his reads off the bat as well. Arm strength will improve nicely alongside his build. On the mound, has a longer arm action from a true three-quarters slot. Pulls hard to his glove side and will fall off the mound slightly that way. Fastball up to 66 mph, pounds the zone with strikes. High 11-to-5 shaped breaking ball with some depth. At the plate, uses a wide and upright stance with a s simple stride trigger. Higher handset, longer overall stroke, some violence to the swing. Chokes up for more barrel control.
