Shunichiro Suganuma is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Chiyoda-Ku, TK who is an international free agent. Medium slender build with room to fill out as he develops. Primary pitcher, has a shorter arm action from a true side arm slot. Side step windup delivery with good deception thanks to his low slot. Moves his 74-77 mph fastball to both sides of the plate well. Solid late running action to the fastball as well. Mixes in a 10-to-4 shaped slider that sits around 67 mph. Finds swings and misses with his deception and projects well when he lives around the zone. Good student in the classroom.
