Masato Takehana is a 2020 OF/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Chiyoda-Ku, TK who is an international free agent. Medium slender build with plenty of room to fill out as he develops, posted a 7.24 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder, reads the ball off the bat well and is aggressive with his reads. Fields out in front and transfers smoothly. Throws from a three-quarters slot. At the plate, uses a narrow and slightly open stance with a low hanging leg kick trigger. Pre-loaded hand coil creates good whip with his barrel through the zone. Strong barrel control as his hands work inside the ball with consistency. Flat barrel plane with a middle to pull side approach. High contact hitter.
