Matai Anzaldua is a 2025 MIF/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Copperas Cove, TX who attends Copperas Cove. Medium, athletic build with long arms and easy physical projection. Good runner, ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, wide base with low hands and a low back elbow in the stance, double toe-tap trigger, rotational upper half in the swing, direct path to the baseball with strength at impact. Present offensive tools with more to project on. Primary middle infielder, solid bounce to the actions, moves around with athleticism, hands get down early and work through the ball nicely. Long arm stroke to a higher release, solid arm strength with accuracy across, recorded throws up to 86 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, side steps to a belt high lift out of the windup, shorter arm action in the back to a high three-quarters slot. Gets arm-side run on the fastball, up to 82 mph. Mixed in a slurvy shaped curveball in the mid-60s. Also worked out in the outfield, fundamentally sound actions, under control on the charge, fields it with one hand on the side of the body, long arm stroke to a higher release, true flight on throws with good arm strength, recorded throws up to 85 mph. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
