Jack Olson is a 2020 SS/2B, MIF, IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Robbinsdale, MN who attends Robbinsdale Cooper. Large frame with some strength to the build at present. Recorded a 7.61 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with fundamental actions, high intensity, strong transfer, whippy arm with the ability to change slots on the move. Also pitched at this event, small rocket step to a high leg lift, tight arm circle in the back to a high three-quarters slot, gets downhill and fills the zone, flashed one slider of 11-to-5 shape. Left-handed hitter, sets up with a wide base, pull side approach with slight lift in the swing path, rotational swing, strong wrists and turns it over with developing feel for the barrel.
