Henry Leipart is a 2024 OF/MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Encino, CA who attends Notre Dame. Ran a 7.06 second sixty. Primary outfielder with a medium athletic build. Showed good feel for the actions in the outfield with an under control approach to the ball fielding it out front and maintaining the momentum into the throws with solid carry on an accurate one hop to the bases. Waits back on the ball on the infield doing a nice job of getting to the right side so the footwork can carry him into the throws. Showed an ability to throws from multiple arm slot with average arm strength. Worked in the stretch only on the mound with a leg lift to the belt and shorter arm action through the back to a high three-quarters arm slot. Sits into the back leg a big coming down the hill with the fastball sitting 77-80 mph. Showed feel fro two different breaking balls with a curveball in the upper 60's showing good top to bottom action and a slider in the low 70's that shows more bite while working mostly horizontal through the hitting zone. Does a nice job competing in the zone with all three pitches showing some life and ability to sequence the arsenal. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base using a toe tap trigger. The bat path stays tight and compact to the body showing an ability to get the bat head out on time and impact the baseball to all fields with linear contact while showing flashes of bat speed that project well to game action. Very good student. Named to the 2022 National Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
