Felix Mateo is a 2022 MIF/RHP with a 5-8 136 lb. frame from Coamo, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.20 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with room to add strength. Primary middle infielder with short, quick steps and showed some balance. Three-quarters arm slot with accurate throws across and throws recorded up to 77 mph. Good balance and body control on the charge play. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a compact delivery and a short arm action. Accelerates at the balance point and rushes down the mound. Tight slot and the fastball has some sink and run. Moves the ball to both sides of the plate. Landed curveball well for strikes. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and gets extended at times. Middle of the field approach and has a contact oriented approach. Power will improve as he adds strength. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
