2022 PG Softball KC Scouting Combine - Fall
Addison Gralund is a 2025 RHP/1B, OF from Marion, IA who attends Linn-Mar. Addison showed that she not only has the tools to lead her team defensively on the mound, but she has the tools to be a offensive threat for her team as well. Defensively, Addison is a right handed pitcher who has very good speed and snap out of her hand. Pitches she throws are a fastball, riseball, screwball, dropball and curveball. All her pitches she does a great job hitting her location and maintaining good break and movement. She is a consistent pitchers that does a good job keeping her pitches around the zone. Addison has solid fundamentals on the mound and has a huge upside and she continues to get stronger on the mound. Not only does she handle business on the mound, she is pitcher who can play multiple positions. Showcased herself as an outfielder as well and does a great job reading the ball off the bat and creating movement through the ball. Offensively, Addison is a solid stand in right handed hitter who does a great job taking her hands to the ball. She does a great job attacking pitching up in the zone and staying on top of the ball and through extension. Uses more upper body but as she consistently utilizes her lower half she will continue to see her power numbers increase offensively. Overall, Addison is a strong athlete that not only has the ability to lead her team on the mound but has the ability to play at the next level if she continues to work. I am very excited to see where this game takes her in the next couple of years.
