Samuel Renner is a 2020 OF/ with a 6-4 181 lb. frame from Douglas, WY who attends Douglas. Large frame with long, lean build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.80 seconds. Hits from upright, open-based stance with hands set low and deep, hands work on inside path, linear barrel plane, stiffness to hands through stroke, whole-field approach with some contact skills, projects for power. Worked out in the outfield, stays tall through actions, glove works out front moving through, clocked up to 80 mph on throws back to the infield. Good student.
