Eric Banks is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Scripps Ranch. Tall slender build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.62. Primary right handed pitcher, throws out of the stretch from a high three-quarter arm slot. Gets downhill easy, threw strikes and worked a two pitch mix. The fastball sat 78-80 mph topping out at 82 mph, kept it on the bottom half of the zone and like to throw it down and away to right handed hitters. Complimented his fastball with a curveball that had late break at times. Also worked out at first base, showed some athleticism, moved well laterally and hand good hands. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow slightly open stance with a toe tap to small leg kick. Showed some pop to his pull side. Excellent student.
