Jaedon Wolver Hickombottom is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Hedrick, IA who attends Pekin Community. Long and lanky frame with plenty of room to fill. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch with a balanced and repeatable operation. Stays in perfect line with the plate and stays tall throughout the delivery with drop and drive lower half mechanics. Long arm action that gets a bit off line and fully extended in the back. Shows arm side run to the fastball. Very comfortable with the curveball, has 11/5 shape with tilt and garnered swings and misses on it. Nice pitch that he can land with ease. Quality frame and mechanics for his age, very low effort delivery with limited strength/mass behind him. Young prospect that will benefit greatly from added strength, easy to see him adding velocity in future. Right-handed hitter with an even base and tall stance. Passive swing and approach with developing bat speed. Barrel tends to be late and gets limited extension. Small stride and short bat path. Excellent student.
