Dawson Conover is a 2022 C/2B/OF with a 5-4 130 lb. frame from Nevada, TX who attends Community. Smaller young frame with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand start and a late hand drop load, swing can develop some loop due to the hand drop and he will improve when he can keep the barrel up, stays short to the ball and hits to all fields with a contact approach. Aggressive defensive player who played many defensive positions, comes to the ball well, developing arm strength, showed energy and good technique in blocking balls in front if him while catching. Will keep improving as he adds size and strength.
