Mathieu Lafortune is a 2022 MIF/OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Montreal, QC who attends Loyola. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.52 seconds. Hits from narrow-based stance, slightly open front hip, loads up and back into bar with hands, tends to hit off of front side, whole-field path and approach, will improve as he gains physical strength. Worked out in the infield, bends at the waist to field, hands out front in stiffer funnel, full windup into throws across the diamond, showed good accuracy, clocked up to 70 mph. Good student.
