Christopher Pieprzak is a 2022 RHP/UT with a 5-10 138 lb. frame from China Township, MI who attends St. Clair. Ran a 7.73 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a slender frame that has room to fill out and add strength. Works exclusively from the stretch with a long stride down the mound with drop and drive actions. Lands slightly open, falling to the glove side slightly through the finish and showcasing developing arm speed from an over the top slot. Fastball flashes some sink at 66-70 miles per hour, and also shows feel to spin a 12-6 breaking ball for strikes at 58 miles per hour. Shows the ability to command the fastball to both sides of the plate. Also worked out in the infield with a two-handed funnel and developing athleticism throughout the fielding process. Makes throws across the diamond at 75 miles per hour. Right-handed hitter with an even base and slight bat wrap at load. Has developing feel for the barrel and will start to impact the ball with more consistency as the frame matures. Good student.
