Braxton Varnes is a 2025 3B/RHP, C, 1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Santa Rosa Beach, FL who attends South Walton. Medium to Larger frame with a lean, wiry type frame showing plenty of room to fill down the road. Projectable build. Ran a 8.20 second sixty yard dash. Primary Thirdbaseman sitting back on the baseball before working well around it. Fields the baseball out front before funneling it to the waist. Shuffles into throws showing to be accurate across the diamond. Secondary Righthanded pitcher working into a higher leg lift with a fast paced motion. Medium arm circle in the back delivering from a compact three-quarter arm slot. Lands direct to target showing repeatable motions. Worked around the strike-zone showing a 76 MPH fastball and a tight spinning curveball that he landed for strikes. Righthanded hitter starting from a balanced stance while sitting in his legs. Hands get deep and slightly sink before working into a linear swing path. Bat speed showing to be plus as he showed a short to it, long through it type swing. Pull-side approach while showing pop when he gets extended. Outstanding Student.
