Cameron Ouyang is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from La Jolla, CA who attends The Bishop's. He ran a 8.12 second sixty. A primary outfielder with a lena frame with some length to fill out moving forward. In the outfield he works under control to the ball fielding it out front, he takes a longer gather with a full arm action showing young arm strength that should develop with added strength as he matures. On the mound he starts with a side step up to a belt high leg lift, he does a nice ob staying on line throughout his delivery with a full arm action up to a higher arm slot, the fastball showed some cutting action in the 74-76 mph range, the curveball showed 11-5 shape with inconsistent arm speed that hs the potential for better bite as he maintains the speed better, the slider has more horizontal break with better arm speed cause better grab on the bite. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base using small leg lift trigger to get back to even from an open stance, the barrel works level through the hitting zone with his weight staying onto back side allowing him to hit from behind the ball.
