Garrett McDown is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Oklahoma City, OK who attends Westmoore. Medium build, low waist with square shoulders. 7.54 runner, has good carry to his throws in the outfield from a long and loose arm action. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, has some hand quickness, tends to get out to his front side early and reach for the ball, has the ability to impact it well if stays back and is short. Also pitched, turn and throw delivery with an extended high 3/4's arm slot, can use his lower half more. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, has good cutting action most of the time, good pitch when he's letting the ball work and not overthrowing. Curveball showed good downer depth and he could use it more. Excellent student.
