Caleb Barnett is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Mountain Brook, AL who attends Mountain Brook. Tall broad shouldered build with good present strength and plenty of projection remaining. Right handed hitter, hits from a medium base with a short stride into contact, stays well balanced and on time, very easy bat speed and explosive power, lived in the 105-107 EV range during batting practice with easy over the fence carry. Primary third baseman on defense, has soft hands and fields the ball confidently, big arm strength with plus carry, athletic enough at his height to stay at third base. Also pitches, throw from a high 3/4's arm slot with a more compact arm action than in the field, topped out at 90 mph with a big sweeping curveball. History of success on the mound but the bat is his best tool. Good student, verbal commitment to Alabama. Selected to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
