Julien Silvestre is a 2020 RHP/ with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Lynn, MA who attends Lynn English. Medium-large frame with strong build, good strength throughout core and lower half. Primary righthanded pitcher, whippy arm stroke with looseness throughout, gets to lower three quarters slot and slings it, creates very good angle to the plate, fastball worked 81-85 mph with good arm side life as well as flashes of cutting life to the glove side, showed slider with sweeping bite, does a good job of running it across the zone and getting chase swings, did a nice job of throwing strikes consistently and challenging hitters on either edge of the plate. Good student, named to 2019 Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
