2022 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Avery Rogers is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Folsom, LA who attends Archbishop Hannan HS. Recorded a 7.13 second 60-yard dash time. Bigger bodied frame with athleticism throughout and room for additional strength. Primary outfielder with a fast arm and good carry out of the hand. Athletic and the ball comes out cleanly. Solid arm strength up to 82 mph into the infield. Secondary left-handed pitcher with good angle and a loose, quick arm. Uses the lower half well and showed very good feel for a breaking ball. Arm action projects well for strikes with a quick arm and good upside. Left-handed hitter with a slightly open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Big shift inward and showed some feel to get extended. Projects for power with additional strength. Good student.
