Kevin Brown is a 2022 RHP/2B with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Stow, MA who attends Nashoba Regional. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present strength to build. Ran an 8.08 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, begins with a high leg raise with a slight pause at top of delivery, medium length stride down the mound and keeps hands close, hiding the ball through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Low effort release, fastball topped out at 68 mph, worked around the zone and pitched to contact; mixed a curveball up to 55 mph. Fields the ball out front in the infield, deliberate tempo to actions, worked around the bag with throws while utilizing an extra step coming through, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; loads hands back at start of swing, uses a double toe tap trigger and can incorporate additional weight shift moving into contact. Full swing path through the zone with a high finish through point of contact. Handsy swing, showed ability to work ball to all fields, best when working on a linear path. Very good student.
