William Vazquez is a 2022 OF/2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from San Bernardino, CA who attends Etiwanda. Compact frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength with continued maturity. Primary outfielder with smooth paced footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Fluid glove actions at pick up and worked through exchange well. Loose arm circle and released from a three-quarters slot generating some online carry to the bag at 75 mph. Also worked out defensively from the infield, stays low while funneling and working through the baseball. Flashed occasional range to each side. Released from a lower three-quarters arm slot topping at 73 mph across the infield. Right handed hitter with an even stance and toe tap trigger. Level barrel path to contact with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Primarily looked to utilize a rotational lower half. Attacked baseball out front while utilizing a mid field to pull side approach.
