Drew Duckworth is a 2023 C/2B, OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Huntsville, AL who attends Sparkman. Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically. Ran a 6.93 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting up in the stance a bit as he reaches for the baseball upon receiving. Transfers and works into release on throw downs as he recorded a pop time of 2.35 seconds during drills. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back on the ball as he makes sure to keep it in front of him. Gathers to the side and then works into transfers. Longer arm swing upon release as he threw it 68 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting narrow with high hands. Works into a lower leg stride before flashing a downhill swing plane. Looked to drive it middle-away and did so when he timed it up properly. Outstanding Student.
