Nick Walker is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from St Louis, MO who attends Kirkwood. Ran a 7.16 second sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and build. Rounds the ball well with quick and deliberate footwork. Has developing glove actions at the backhand, shuffling to throw with a longer arm action. Makes accurate throws across the diamond with good carry at 80 miles per hour. Left-handed hitter with a tall and slightly open stance, low hand set and some balance through the swing. Shows present bat speed, getting good extension with a linear barrel plane through the zone. Flashes the ability to create some impact to the pull-side and repeats the smooth and easy swing from the left side. Good student.
