Hayes Maginnis is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Newnan. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Right handed hitter, starts with an open front side and a clean stride and shift into contact, line drive swing plane with present bat speed, drove the ball hard to left center field with some carry, advanced hit tool that performs at a high level in games. 6.87 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has smooth hands and a very quick and clean transfer, twitchy athletic actions, compact arm action from a higher slot with very good carry, all the tools to stay in the middle infield. Also worked out in the outfield and would be fine there but is a natural infielder. Did not pitch at this event but has been up to 92 mph on the mound at PG events. Good student.
