Holden Campbell is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-4 130 lb. frame from Huffman, TX who attends Hargrave. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.76 seconds. Switch-hitter, more advanced and refined from the left side, good balance to lefthanded stroke, smoothness, lower half gets involved, gets hands out front and made consistent contact. Showed contact skills from the right side with opposite field approach, more upper body-oriented from right side. Does a nice job working counts in game, controls the zone well. Worked out in the infield, shows range to both sides along with balance to footwork, hands work out front, clocked up to 71 mph on throws across the diamond. Very good student.
