Lance Ludens is a 2025 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Mediapolis, IA who attends Mediapolis. Recorded a 7.12 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame and lean build with plenty of room to fill. Primary middle infielder, moves well and displays effortless motions. Good lateral range with a longer arm action, has some softness in his hands, solid defensive actions for his age, has a great chance to improve and projects well moving forward. Secondary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, fastball sat 72-76 mph and had occasional arm side run. Shows developing command at present, flashed a curveball with 11-5 shape. Sound delivery overall, repeats his mechanics well, has the potential for increased velocity with added strength. Right-handed hitter with an open stance and a high back elbow set. Utilizes a small lift and replace trigger, simple and repeatable operation overall. Direct hand path, tends to flick his wrists to swing, will improve impact as he gets extended. At his best when staying towards the middle of the field, has a contact-oriented approach with quick hands. Great student.
