Eli Wilson is a 2020 SS/3B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Pataskala, OH who attends Watkins Memorial. Larger frame with broad shoulders and present strength. Primary shortstop with clean footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange with loose actions. Flashed the ability to throw while on the run, primarily released from a three-quarters slot topping at 74 mph. Right handed hitter with an even, balanced stance and simple front side trigger. Created some linear shift into contact with lower half. Loose hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted plane through extension. Showed developing feel for the barrel with present strength. Generated good carry to the gaps when throw barrel to contact out front to contact.
