Maddox Tanner is a 2026 3B/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Midland, PA who attends Beaver Area. Long and potentially strong athletic build, very projectable physically. Right handed hitter, hits from an open and wide stance with a deep and busy hand load, big barrel tilt to start his swing, lots going on to start his swing, swings hard and tends to pull off his front side early, flashed strength in the barrel when he was on time, will have the strength to impact the baseball in the future but will need adjustments to simplify his approach. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has good fundamental footwork moving to the ball, efficient laterally, funnels the ball cleanly, good athleticism and body control, has some arm strength across the diamond, solid overall for third base. Very good student.
