Benjamin Sanchez is a 2022 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Nolan Catholic. Medium lengthy build with plenty of room to fill into as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, glove works well down in front, meticulous with his breakdown to the baseball. Moves well to both sides, still developing his arm strength while on the move. On the mound, has a longer arm action from a high three-quarters to over the top slot. High front side as his arm reaches down and back, short stride down the hill, fastball up to 76 mph. Mixes in a 12-to-6 curveball with some good depth. At the plate, uses a slightly closed and upright stance with present quickness through the zone. Handsy overall foundation, slightly uphill barrel plane through the zone. At his best when working through the middle of the field, good student in the classroom as well.
