Jackson Foster is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Wichita, KS who attends Wichita East. Large frame with a slender build and room to fill out moving forward. Ran a 7.35 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a quick turn step into a leg lift to the belt. Stays square at the gather working to drop and drive actions to the plate. Creates a bit of deception with movement in delivery. Long arm action in the back and into an extended lower three-quarter slot. Will both run and cut the fastball at varies times while topping out at 80 miles per hour. Stays around the edges of the plate with the pitch showing command. Best curveball when getting on top some and producing 11-to-5 shape and keeping the spin tight. Also worked out as a secondary infielder. Works around the ball and maintains momentum towards the bag. Fields out front with a funnel up. Short arm action into a side slot release at 77 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an upright stance to start. Looks to pull the baseball with rotational actions. Can fly open at times and work the opposite field. Line drive contact off the barrel. Very good student as well.
