Jack McWilliams is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from San Marcos, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Showed elite level athleticism with a 6.39 second sixty. Primary outfielder with a large athletic build showing present strength throughout the build. Took a strong round of batting practice showcasing the ability to drive the baseball with some authority from the right side of the plate. Starts with a narrow base using a short stride trigger to time up the swing. Keeps the weight on the back side looking to create easy leverage from the lower half at the contact point out front where is strength plays allowing him to impact the baseball best from the middle of the field to the pull side. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 Colorado Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to the University of San Diego.
