2026 PG Jr. National Showcase
Cullen Garner is a 2028 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Saint Augustine, FL who attends St. Joseph Academy. Sturdy and strong build. Works from a staggered start on the mound from the third base side of the rubber, high hands to start, controlled mechanics with good lower half drive into release. Fastball topped out at 93 mph with big spin and high spin characteristics. Change up was his best secondary pitch, sells it well with arm speed and will throw to both side hitters. Slider was short and thrown for strikes but not consistent or sharp yet. 6.84 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, showed his big arm strength from a high 3/4's arm slot. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow stance with a high hand load, swing is pretty simple and short, has bat speed and the strength to impact the ball. Very good student.
