Grant Stringer is a 2021 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Bellaire, TX who attends St. Thomas. Recorded a 7.56 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, slender frame with long levers and room to add strength. Primary left-handed pitcher with a deceptive, uptempo delivery that he repeats consistently, while showing the ability to command his full 3-pitch mix effectively. Works from an extended three-quarters arm slot that creates a tough angle for hitters to pick up on. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the most part, topping out at 81 mph in this look and showing some true arm-side life through the zone. Aggressive approach with attack mentality, tunneling his secondary offerings well off his fastball. Curveball shows slurve shape to it with some late tilt to it in the upper-60s, while well-replicated changeup flashes power fade to right-handed hitters most effectively. Advanced feel for pitching with well-maintained arm speed on all three pitches and command of all four quadrants. Should see velocity uptick with the addition of more strength.
