Jason Theriot is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Mont Belvieu, TX who attends Barbers Hill HS. Recorded a 7.35 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some athleticism present and room to fill. Primary shortstop with a loose arm stroke and an elongated release. Has some lateral agility and can work through the ball nicely. Three-quarters slot with good accuracy across and has throws recorded up to 70 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short arm stroke and three-quarters arm slot. Longer arm circle in the back with a slight stab. Attacks hitters with fastball and challenges hitters within the strike zone. Mixed in a curveball with shape and projection. Did not take batting practice but righthanded hitter with an upright stance, compact stroke, and keeps hands away from the body. Good student.
