2023 National Southeast Showcase
Jake Gaskill is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Compact, athletic frame that will hold more muscle as he continues to fill out and mature physically. Ran a 6.51 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, quick feet, athletic mover with good fundamentals overall, accurate throwing arm, low line on throws, very gamelike pace here and projects, held his own nicely out there. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance with high hands, hanging knee lift trigger, has rhythm and fluidity throughout the entire swing, controls the barrel, releases it out front with backside impact, consistent ability to lift it pullside and work that gap nicely, has bat speed, impressive round. Very talented prospect with standout skills in the box, will continue to trend up as he fills out. Named to the 2023 National Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
