Drew Emrich is a 2025 C/2B/3B/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Linthicum, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding. Starting from Emrich's primary position behind the plate, he worked out of a young frame with a compact arm action that produced consistent accurate throws to second. Arm strength has plenty of time to develop as a '25 prospect. Though not listed as a RHP, Emrich showed that he was capable of throwing strikes and holding runners on successfully, working exclusively from the stretch. He used a full arm action and high 3/4 slot to record outs efficiently. At the dish, Emrich started from a wider slightly open stance with a line drive approach to the middle of the field. The mechanics are simple and repeatable. Ran a 7.86 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
