Alex Espinoza is a 2025 MIF/RHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends Grayson. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and projectable frame, room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, deliberate tempo to actions, shows quickness to arm and hands play at the ball, longer release through the ball with a full arm stroke working to a higher release point, arm plays across the diamond. Also pitched, moves well with rhythm coming down the mound, incorporates lower half well into drive. Creates nice extension out front with a repeated three-quarters release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, showed running life to it and worked to both sides of the plate; showed comfort spinning the ball up to 68 mph with tight spin and depth through the zone. Recorded quick outs. Right-handed hitter, shows looseness to swing and hands along with a feel for the barrel. in the box. Repeats well and swing played in live actions as well with hard barreled contact, comes off well and projects for more strength, repeats swing and mechanics nicely with extension out front. Good student. Named to the Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
