Sammy Wilson is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends The Weber School. Medium athletic build with good present strength for his age. 6.82 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, moves to the ball very well and shows his athleticism, fundamentally sound in his transition, outstanding arm strength, makes low on-line throws from a quick release, high level defensive tools. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow and slightly open base with a leg raise trigger, can get his stride foot down sooner, best contact is when the foot is down and he's pulling the ball, has hand quickness and some bat speed with more to come. Quick twitch athlete who will continue to improve, especially on offense. Very good student.
