JT Brissenden is a 2022 C/OF/RHP with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Highland, IL who attends Highland HS. Compact frame with a slender build and room to fill out. Ran an 8.38 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Sets up in an even stance and gains some ground towards the base with flexibility in the lower half. Clean glove work while fielding out front. Inconsistent arm action with soft carry to the bag at 65 miles per hour and popping a 2.35 in workouts. Lefthanded hitter with a crouched stance and toe tap trigger for timing. Simple approach with some fluidity through an uphill path. More contact oriented approach working the ball to all fields. Secondary righthanded pitcher with with a crouched side step delivery into a short leg lift. Lands in line down the mound with drop and drive actions to the plate. Medium action in the back into a compact three-quarter release. Straight fastball with some feel for the zone topping out at 68 miles per hour. Slow breaking curveball with an 11-to-5 shape. Excellent student as well.
