Luis Cintron is a 2020 1B/LHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Saint Cloud, FL who attends Tohopekaliga. Tall and lanky frame with room to fill throughout. Ran an 8.25 second 60 yard dash. Primary first baseman, worked out at the position with developing footwork, hands work down to the baseball from a high fielding position. Secondary lefthanded pitcher, crossfire delivery, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, fastball is straight up to 69 mph, will need to develop an offspeed pitch for added effectiveness. Lefthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide stance and high back elbow, starts swing with a toe tap used for timing, downhill swing path to the ball, contact-oriented approach with proper adjustments necessary. Outstanding student.
