2020 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Dylan Liedy is a 2023 C/IF with a 5-4 185 lb. frame from Annapolis, MD who attends Mcdonogh. Recorded a 8.60 second 60-yd dash time. Smaller frame with plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Primary catcher with a developing defensive skill set. Starts with a bent over stance while using segmented footwork to work uphill through release. Showed ability to transfer ball fairly well, while releasing throw quickly. Will improve with physical maturity and engagement of lower half in his throwing process. Right-handed hitter with wide stance, high hand set and high back elbow. Intent driven swing with short swing path and some barrel accuracy. Shows ability to get barrel to the front and extended on the inner half, should improve leverage and pull side power with added strength. Good Student.
