Brandon Paider is a 2021 SS/2B, RHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Glendale, NY who attends Monsignor McClancy Memorial School. Younger, lean build with room on the frame for additional physicality and strength. Primary shortstop with arm strength recorded up to 73 mph. Two handed fielder with a compact arm stroke and gets rid of the ball fairly quickly. Bends at the waist and the actions project. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a slower tempo delivery and looseness to motion. Longer arm stroke and gets on top of the ball nicely. Can work down in the strike zone with short sink on the fastball. Filled up the strike zone and mixed in a firm curveball with some shape and projection. Righthanded hitter with a downhill swing plane, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Tighter hands with a balanced stance and upper half dominant swing. Will improve power with additional shift through the lower half. Good student.
