Matthew Madigan is a 2020 2B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Allentown, PA who attends Emmaus HS. Recorded a 4.88 second 40-yard dash time. Lean, athletic frame with some quick twitch present and room to fill out and add strength. Primary second baseman with currently developing arm strength recorded up to 68 mph. Aggressive actions with good accuracy and a short, loose arm stroke. Can throw from multiple angles with accuracy and when on the run. Arm strength plays from secondary position of outfield. Righthanded hitter with an inward toe tap into the stride. Multiple moving parts from a deeper hand set and has good barrel skills. Short, quick stroke with line drive contact to pull. Stays short to the ball and has a consistent swing. Good student.
