Alex Ellert is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from White City, SK who attends Martin Collegiate. Smaller frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 6.98 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows good agility and lateral range around the infield, gets to the spot on time and works though it with confidence, shows clean glove work to both sides and fields it in his center while showing good arm strength on throws clocked up to 85 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, sound approach, shows a quiet trigger and strides in well, works on time through the zone with ease to the swing, matches plane well and works to both gaps with consistency. Projects well with added strength.
