Ryker Edwards is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Smithville, MO who attends Smithville. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 6.67 runner in the sixty. Has solid defensive actions in the outfield, works through the ball aggressively but under control and gets behind his throws with a quick release, good carry to his throws with a compact and quick arm circle, centerfield tools. Right handed hitter, hits from a crouched slightly open stance with a toe tap trigger and a low hand load, has present bat speed and swings hard, gets some separation and lift out front, hits against his front side well, ball comes off the barrel hard and loud at times. Twitchy athlete with lots of tools and a strong fundamental base. Excellent student. Named to the Kansas City Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
